How to reach us with the usage of public transport?

From the city center

Tram 9 or 11 from Vaclavske namesti, or Muzeum station, takes 15 minutes.

From Vaclav Havel Airport Prague

Take bus 119 to Nadrazi Veleslavin station, then take the metro (line A) to Hradčanská station and tram number 1 to the Strážní stop.

The travel time is approximately 60 minutes.

From Main Railway Station
Tram no. 9 to Strazni station takes just 15 minutes. The tram stop is located to the right from the exit of the railway station hall.

From bus station Florenc
The fastest way from bus station Florenc is by bus lines 133 or 207 to Ohrada stop then two stops by tram no. 1,9 or 11 to Strazni stop.

Travel time is approximately 15 minutes.

Points of interest around Jarov

National Memorial on the Vítkov Hill

Memorial was build in years 1929-1938 to honor the participants in the struggle for the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic. Memorial is a part of National Museum. There is now a museum of modern history with a multimedia exhibition. Next to the monument is the statue of the famous commander Jan Žižka, which is one of the largest riding sculptures in the world.

Židovské pece

The origin of the name of the Zidovske pece (Jewish furnaces) is unknown, but it is assumed that the Jews used to take shelter in the caves around here when they were expelled from Prague around 1744. At present, there are paved paths in the park with a separate lane for cyclists, several fenced playgrounds, benches, in-line skating paths and other leisure activities.

Zizkov TV tower

The highest building in Prague reaching 216 meters is at the same time the highest lookout tower in the Czech Republic. Part of the tower is a restaurant in height of 66 meters, which commbines modern cuisine with spectacular views of the city.
